Memorial Day Weekend.

Jeremy's scout troop is washing motorcycles for Rolling Thunder.

Here are some shots I took at the local VFW Hall where they set up their

bike washing stand.

Spent a lovely afternoon with my mom at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA. Beautiful gardens and lots of interesting history about this lovely, historic home.

 The garden had the most beautiful Irisis in so many colors.  Love the contrast between the purple flowers in the backround with the yellow iris in the photo below.

This picture was taking in the Rotunda at Monticello.  They just started taking tour groups up to the second floor of the house.  Took this with my phone.

Artichokes

Went shopping at Trader Joe's this morning.  They had some gorgeous artichokes.  So, I just had to take some pictures of them when I got home.  I am sure you noticed that I played around a bit with the color while I was editing the photos.  Let me know what you think.  Enjoy!
